Mark Hafeman is a member of the California Art Club, Glendale Art Association, Buenaventura Art Association, Plein Air Artists Colorado and Plein Air Painters of New Mexico.
Mark seeks to make the beauty of nature clear to the viewer through the use of dramatic value, vibrant color and expressive line. He won several awards from American Art Awards in 2010 and 2013. In 2014 he won a Purchase Award in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
His work was chosen for "Art with a Bayou View" and the "19th Annual Arts in Harmony 2014 International Show. He was selected for the 2013 LAAA Open Show in LA, CA. From 2013-2014 he has shown work at Summerland Winery, Meridians in Ventura, Al Cid in Burbank, Segil Gallery in Monrovia and the San Gabriel Gallery in San Gabriel.
